VOGUI – Vocational Guidance based on Non Formal Education was developed with the support of the Portuguese National Agency for the program Erasmus+ Youth in Action.

What is Erasmus +?

Erasmus+ is the EU program for education, training, youth and sport (2014-2020). This program consolidates under a single framework for supporting the areas of education, training, youth and sport and other international programs, including Jean Monnet and Erasmus Mundus.

The Erasmus+ program is to support education activities, training, youth and sport in all sectors of learning throughout life, including higher education, vocational training, adult education, school education, activities for young people and training in amateur Sport.

In the specific case of VOGUI support was coming from the youth dimension and therefore managed by the National Agency for Erasmus + Youth in Action Programme Management.

Erasmus+ is structured around three key actions Action (key action KA) and the Jean Monnet activities and sports, organized as follows:

  • Action 1: Individual Mobility for learning purposes
  • Action 2: Cooperation for Innovation and Good Practice
  • Action 3: Support for Reform Policies
  • Activities Jean Monnet
  • Sport

Organizations around the sectors of education, training, youth and sport may apply for funding under actions 1, 2 and 3. The Jean Monnet activities and Sport area are separate actions, with a very specific focus of funding.

In the specific case of VOGUI, funding was framed in Action 2: Cooperation for Innovation and Good Practice.
